Newborn mothers need warmth! Warmth in heart, and warmth in conditions of temperature; such as a nice warm meal or a cup of tea. All who are performing at the top of their game can benefit from the nervous system being calmed and nothing calms a nervous system like feeling a warm cup in our hands while smelling the beautiful aroma of freshly brewed spices. Taking a moment out to breath deeply and feel the love grow inside. One thing that irritates many newborn mothers is the old cold cup of coffee or tea, well ladies this here is your solution.
I invite you to put on a slow cooker of Masala Chai so you never have to have a cold cup of tea again.

Ayurvedic Masala Chai – Slow cooker method
2cm (3/4 inch) piece of ginger
5cm (2 inch) cinnamon stick
3 cardamom pods
1 tablespoon loose leaf black tea or 3 black teabags
500mill milk of choice (I use almond milk, and Lee uses A2 milk).
3 tablespoons of sweetener of choice (I use raw organic honey in mine).
SERVES 6 cups
Put all the spices, tea and milk into the slow cooker with 1.5 liters of water or till the level reaches your minimum point. Put the slow cooker on high and allow to cook for 4 hours then add your sweetener and turn down to keep warm. Serve with a soup ladle into your cup for nice warm tea that’s ready when you are, so no more drinking cold tea!
